Jimmerson still pumped about Spartans
Florissant (Mo.) Hazelwood Central running back A.J. Jimmerson committed to Michigan State back in early November, but for some reason the commitment went without Jimmerson talking too much about why he picked the Spartans. So why did he pick the Spartans?
“I liked the team, the players and really felt like I found my home,” Jimmerson said. “I liked the coaches and how they made me feel at home. Coach Baldwin also did a great job of recruiting me. He’s a real cool guy.”

Jimmerson said he’s a very solid commitment to the Spartans and he has no plans of taking any other visits – even though Minnesota continues to call him on a regular basis.
“They’re the only ones,” he said. “I’m telling them that I’m committed, but they still like to call.”
Jimmerson had offers from Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska and Tulsa before he made his commitment to the Spartans. He is ranked as the nation’s No. 28 running back by Rivals.com.
