Jeune is focusing on his season

Montvale (N.J.) St. Joseph's wide receiver Ricky Jeune has put recruiting on the backburner. The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder continues to have six offers, but no visits planned in the immediate future.
"I'm more focused on the season, I'll focus on recruiting towards the end of the year," he said. "I'm not sure what I'm looking for yet. I just want to see where I fit in and go from there."

Jeune holds offers from Boston College, Connecticut, East Carolina, Kansas, Purdue and Rutgers.
One other school continues to monitor the three-star.
"Georgia Tech is in touch, that's the one other school right now," he said. "They are just telling me that they are high on me and interested."
Regarding visits, Jeune mentioned they more than likely will be after the season. However, one trip could happen before then.
"I've got a bye week coming up and we'll see if I can go somewhere," said Jeune.
Right now, Jeune has no specific plans in place for any trips, but he has begun to think ahead.
"I am definitely taking my officials," he said. "I may not take all five, but maybe three."
Jeune and St. Joseph's fell to Good Counsel (Md.) 14-10 in a rainy matchup over the weekend.
"It was raining heavy and a very bad game for me," he said. "I can't really say much about the year yet and my plan. I just want to keep playing hard and keep playing the way I've been playing."
