Jerseys top receiver likes Iowa

Andrey Baskin out of Camden (N.J.) Woodrow Wilson is one of the top junior wide receivers in the country.
Just take a look at the list of schools who are interested in Baskin's services. They include West Virginia, Michigan, Michigan State, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Arizona, Tennessee, Tulane, Rutgers, Southern Cal and a host of others.
Currently the 6-foot-3, 195-pounder knows he'd like to visit Iowa, a team he has followed for a while and has been favoring from the beginning. Other schools in Baskin's top five include Tennessee, Syracuse, Louisiana State and Arizona State. He has offers from Tennessee, Virginia, Rutgers, Michigan and Maryland so far.

As for what makes him stick out as a player, Baskin points to his size.
"I think what makes me stand out is that I'm a fast player with good feet and good size," he said. "My size really helps."
This season Baskin helped Woodrow Wilson to a 6-4 record as they lost in the first round of the playoffs. He posted 31 catches and eight scores.
So what is the wide receiver looking for out of a school?
"I just want to go get an education and play football."
Baskin isn't sure what camps he will attend this summer. He attended the Rivals.com New Jersey Junior Day last year as a sophomore and will be in attendance this year as well.
