Jerseys Hunt is headed to the MAC

Paterson (N.J.) John F. Kennedy defensive end Keith Hunt made a decision last week. The 6-foot-1, 225-pounder has decided to take his services to the MAC.
"I committed to Buffalo last Tuesday," he said. "I'm actually visiting them this weekend and want to hear more about the school, see how they work as a team and get to know the coaches more."

The offer from Buffalo was his only scholarships. What made Hunt go ahead and make the selection?
"I heard good things from a friend of mine, Chris Johnson," he said. "I also liked what I spoke to the coaches. I do like their program and I see they are coming along starting to win some games."
Aside from the coaches, playing time was a big component for Hunt too.
"They are going to let me choose whether I want to play linebacker or defensive end," he said. "I want linebacker because of my size. I know they don't have too many after this season with people graduating and that means I have a good chance to play. I just have to show them good things when I arrive."
