Jersey WR up to three offers

Kenny Britt out of Bayonne, N.J. is a big wide receiver prospect in 2006. The 6-foot-4, 192-pounder with 4.5-second 40-yard dash speed recently took in a couple of junior days at Maryland and Rutgers.
"He liked both Rutgers and Maryland," said former Bayonne head coach Rick Rodriguez. "For what they were offering, but he's still wide open and this is just starting to happen now for him, so it's still early."

Britt has also gained two new offers in addition to his previous one from Syracuse. The new additions are Rutgers and Michigan State.
"He's got three scholarship offers and certainly is a special player."
This offseason Britt is training for next season.
"He's doing weight lifting right now," Rodriguez said. "He's a part of a special class and they should have a great year. You can't say much more about him than the fact that he was all-county and all-state last year too."
Rodriguez just recently stepped down from his post as head coach at Bayonne and is now waiting to see where he'll end up; he did have some nice parting words to say about his star receiver.
"He's a tremendous player," he said. "Physically at 6-foot-4 and 4.45 speed and he can do a triple back flip and land on his feet and also play football. He's a special player and he's what offenses are looking for, he's that Al Toon kind of player with the height and speed. He's a big time player; who can go up and get the ball."
As for this spring Britt is planning on attending the Nike Camp at Penn State and the Elite College Combine at East Rutherford.
This summer he is looking at attending a few camps including Rutgers, Michigan State, Penn State and Syracuse.
