Jersey WR to commit soon

Since last February, Keyport, N.J. wideout JJ Bedle had two goals heading into the 2003 season. First, win a state championship and second get a full ride to play D-I football. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound speedster is one of the top receivers on the east coast and already has a few full ride offers.
"I have four offers right now and I'm thinking about committing soon,” said Bedle. “I wanted to get this over with early.”

JJ recently returned from an unofficial trip to Michigan State and came home with the Spartans on top of his list.
"I really like the offense they run and I think I would fit in very nice there,” he said. “They’re my favorite right now.”
Besides Michigan State, JJ has offers from Rutgers, Syracuse and Indiana.
With 4.4-second 40-yard dash speed, super hands and a 42-inch vertical jump, JJ is sure to receive many more offers during the season. But will he wait?
"I'm really thinking of making a commitment. I wanted to do it before the season started and the schools that offered me obviously want me the most. That’s important to me, but I'm just not sure if I should wait."
All four schools have a chance at JJ right now, but the Spartans are the team to beat. Bedle has such great athletic ability that he might play some another position for Keyport this season.
"I'm probably going to see some action at QB. That's not what I prefer, but if it means helping the team then that comes first."
