Jersey WR impressive; earns offer

The first of many offers has finally come for one of the Garden State's top wide receivers after once again putting on a show at a recent high school combine.
After running a 4.31 second 40-yard dash at the Nike combine in late April, JJ Bedle of Keyport, N.J. took his talents to the MSG Tri-State Football Combine at the Rex-Plex Complex in Elizabeth, N.J. this past week.

JJ wowed the college recruiters in attendance during the receiving drills with his athletic ability and precise patterns. He was so impressive that Syracuse University was in his school the next day with an offer.
The 5-foot-10, 177-pound speedster blew by defenders while catching the deep ball and crossing patterns. Some recruiters who stuck around after the combine had the opportunity to watch him put on a dunking exhibition on the basketball court. Syracuse, Boston College, Rutgers and Nebraska watched as JJ flew above the rim with ease and had all heads turning.
"I know that the Syracuse coach was watching me dunk and I think he was impressed," Bedle said. "It's so nice to get my first offer and I always liked Syracuse."
There is no doubt that JJ will be seeing many more offers in the near future. Not only does he have great leaping ability and runs routes like he's been doing it for years, but he catches everything thrown within reach.
"I'm hoping the offers start coming in because it's been a little frustrating. I ran a 4.31 at the Nike combine with a 36-inch vertical jump."
JJ is listing Syracuse, Boston College, Tennessee, Rutgers, NC State and Michigan as his favorites.
"Boston College and Rutgers were both at the combine so I hope I impressed them. I'm also hoping to hear from Tennessee and Michigan sometime this month. NC State has already come in and they said my offer is coming in the mail."
