Jersey WR has four offers, wants more

Many college prospects feel very fortunate to receive one or maybe two offers from decent programs. That's not the case with JJ Bedle, who isn't satisfied with the way things currently stand.
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound wide receiver from Keyport, N.J. has offers from Syracuse, Indiana, Temple and Rutgers. Pretty good, right?

"No, I'm looking for much bigger offers," said Bedle. "It's only natural that it would take the big-time programs longer to offer, because they pick-and-choose more. But I know that I can play with anyone, and I want to play big-time college football more than anything."
Bedle has run the 40-yard dash in the 4.4-second range, and he's not just a top-notch wide receiver. He also has excellent return skills on punts and kickoffs, and can turn a game around on special teams.
Most schools are recruiting him as a wide receiver, which is the position he prefers over cornerback. So who are some schools he likes?
"I like Boston College," he said. "But they haven't offered me yet. I don't want to seem like I'm being impatient, but if they had really, really wanted me they would have offered by now. I hope they do it soon, because I like them a lot. I just wish they would give me more attention.
"I'm going to camp at Michigan this summer. I like their program and their tradition. I really respect them a lot. I also want to go to Florida for some reason. Their offense has always been exciting and they're going to have a lot of young talent."
Bedle would like to have his decision made before his senior season begins. As a junior he made 53 catches for 1,051 yards and 15 scores. He has a vertical of more than 40-inches and is one of the most explosive players in New Jersey this year.
