Jersey WR has early favorites

Wide receiver Rich Gunnell of Lawrenceville (N.J.) Notre Dame, should be considered one of the top receivers in New Jersey next season. He stands 6-foot-1, 180-pounds and runs a 4.5-second 40-yard dash.
He's already receiving interest from Michigan, Rutgers, Michigan State, Virginia, Boston College and Iowa.

"Those are my top schools for right now. It's early so things might change, but those are the schools that have shown me the most interest so far."
Last season Gunnell caught 36 passes for 650 yards and 14 touchdowns. For his career he has more than 2,800 receiving yards and 38 touchdowns. He has started since his freshman year.
Gunnell was an all-conference, all-area and third team all-state selection as a junior. He was also voted conference Player of the Year. Rich carries a 3.0 GPA and those smarts translate onto the field.
"I think that I'm a very smart player, a real student of the game. I've started since my freshman year so I have a lot of experience."
