Jersey WR adds two offers

Wide receiver Waynelle Gravesande has added two new offers to his list in the past couple weeks. The 5-foot-10, 155-pounder out of Irvington, N.J. is now up to six scholarship offers. Does he have any favorites?
"Waynelle picked up recent offers from Purdue and Cincinnati," Irvington head coach Darnell Grant said. "He had a heck of a spring running a sub 4.5-second 40-yard dash at one of the combines and I know he finished in the top three too."

Currently one of Gravesande's recent offers appears to stand out.
"I'd say Purdue is probably his favorite," Grant explained. "I know he likes the opportunity they present to play big-time football especially in the Big Ten. He also is a very smart kid that wants to be a chemical engineer and likes the aspect of what they are offering too."
With an offer from his apparent favorite, could Gravesande make an early decision?
"I doubt that will happen," he said. "His mom has a lot of say about what is going on and she I'm sure is going to want him to take official visits and go to camps this summer."
This summer the Garden State prospect plans to attend a few camps at Temple, Rutgers, Bowling Green and perhaps Purdue.
Gravesande hauled in 61 receptions for 819 yards and 10 touchdowns last season on his way to earning all-junior, conference, county, area and group.
"Waynelle is a complete receiver," he said. "He is extremely explosive and one of the smoothest receivers I've come across. He has the ability to do it all, go over the middle, deep and more and he has tremendous explosion after the catch. Waynelle is the type of guy that can change the game anytime he touches the ball and he has great hands. He is also a great person to be around and a very hard worker."
