Jersey Village prospects looking at futures

Houston (Texas) Jersey Village coach David Snokhous has two senior prospects looking for a college choice and a rising junior that is on the radar.
Three-star cornerback Jacoby Reed had previously narrowed down his list to two schools – Oklahoma State and Nebraska. Snokhous says that at this point, one of those schools is full and the other is still hanging with him.

"Nebraska was on him pretty hard, but they've filled up," Snokhous said about Reed. "Oklahoma State is on him, but he's going to be working hard to qualify. It's going to be close with him. It's really going to be a combination of both his GPA and his test score."
Snokhous says that OSU may be a school that could sign Reed and place him in a junior college, if he does in fact fail to qualify.
Sleeper receiver Desmon Marrs was receiving interest from Boise State, but Snokhous says that Marrs may also be heading to the junior college route.
Junior running back Anthony Bibbs is the prospect that coaches are looking at as of late. The 5-foot-9, 185-pounder is a 2008 prospect that Snokhous says has the "chance to be a good one."
"Compared to guys we've had, he's a little under where Selvin (Young) was at this age, that's probably where he's different," Snokhous said. "But, he's getting some attention. He had a good year, rushed for around 1,100 yards or so.
"He hasn't picked up any offers yet, but several schools are talking about him."
Bibbs was a first-team all-district member as a junior.
"Anthony has the ability to get outside and juke you," Snokhous said. "But, he's got a little bit of everything. He's developing into a well-rounded runner."
