Jersey twins taking their time

Jersey City (N.J.) Hudson Catholic defensive tackle twins Darren and Joe Salinardi are taking their time with the recruiting process.

"They're going to take a few more official visits," said Hudson Catholic head coach Rob Stern of his 6-foot-4, 285-pound twin linemen. "They're going to Indiana on Jan. 16 and most likely to UConn for Jan. 23."
The twins have already visited South Carolina and Rutgers and came away impressed with both.
"South Carolina faded a bit when they fired the twins' recruiting coach, but they've come back into the picture of late," said Stern. "Rutgers is close to home and they felt comfortable there. They want to see a few more places though, but I'd say SC and Rutgers are even right now."
The twins have offers from all four of their favorites.
