The Salinardi twins, Darren and Joe, from Jersey City (N.J.) Hudson Catholic, are beginning to set their official visit dates. The package-deal defensive tackles will be busy over the next few months.
"Right now their schedule is tentative because we might be in the state playoffs," said head coach Rob Stern of his 6-foot-4, 285-pound twins. "They have visits set with South Carolina for Nov. 21, Rutgers for Dec. 12 and Indiana for Jan. 16."

The twins have offers from the Gamecocks, Scarlet Knights and Hoosiers as well as some others.
"Clemson and Kent State have also offered and they're waiting on written offers from Maryland, Iowa and UConn."
Boston College has also shown recent interest in the duo. Both players are physically gifted with 4.9-second speed in the 40-yard dash and explosive power. The duo want to attend the same school. Stern doesn't see that as a problem.
"They are physically among the most gifted kids I've been around in high school or college. They run well, are very strong and just look like NFL players."
