Jersey TE takes a Midwest trip

With two more recent offers, tight end Ryan Morris of Barnegat (N.J.) has seen his total reach eight. The Jersey Shore tight end took a Midwest visit during his spring break to check out some of these programs, and also has a few more visits planned in the next month.
"Everything is going well," said Morris, who is 6-foot-6 and 241-pounds. "I'm up to eight offers."
Morris' most recent offers came in from Duke and Cincinnati, and join previous offers from Louisville, Indiana, Purdue, Syracuse, Tulane and Central Florida.
Morris had the opportunity to visit four of these schools on a recent trip.
"We went to Purdue, Indiana, Louisville and Cincinnati over spring break," said Morris. "It was a good trip. All four schools had great facilities and campuses."
The busy schedule for Morris is set to continue later this month.
"Next weekend I'm going up to Syracuse and In June I'm going down to Duke and North Carolina," he said.
Aside from the eight offers he already has, a few more schools may be close to joining this group.
"I'm not sure, but South Carolina came to my school last week and were interested," said Morris. "North Carolina is coming in tomorrow, and Pitt and UConn came in last week too."
Morris mentioned that he is looking to make a final decision early in the fall.
