Jersey TE stays in state

He was slated to visit Rutgers this weekend, but he just couldn't wait. The Scarlet Knights landed commitment on Wednesday night from one of the top 40 players in New Jersey.
Morristown, N.J., two-star tight end Jesse Cisco, who is 6-foot-5 and 230-pounds, committed to Rutgers this evening, according to his mother, Janet Cisco.

"He committed tonight," his mom said.
In a previous update, it was clear Rutgers had peaked Cisco's interest.
"I know it (Rutgers) is up and coming, and I have talked to the coach and he said that it is a big tight end type program, which made me interested in it," Cisco said. "It is close to home, which is another bonus. The main thing that makes me really interested in it is because it is a big tight end thing - some colleges I am nervous about going to because I might just be a blocking tight end. I love having the ball in my hands."
Cisco is scheduled to visit Rutgers this weekend. He was also recruited by Boston College, North Carolina, N.C. State, Penn State and Virginia Tech.
