Jersey TE picks Wisconsin

The ties to New Jersey continue for the Wisconsin Badgers as they picked up their most recent commitment from the Garden State.
"Garrett committed Thursday to Wisconsin," said Eileen, the mother of 6-foot-4, 223-pound tight end Garrett Graham. "He took an official visit out there the weekend of Labor Day and thought about it over the last couple weeks and just felt good about it."
Graham, who chose Wisconsin over offers from Syracuse, West Virginia, Georgia Tech and others, liked the Big Ten.
"It's a great conference and, with the Big East changing so much and not being as competitive, he felt the Big Ten was the place," his mother said. "He liked coach White and all the players he met as well out there. It's also a good academic school."
Graham caught three touchdown passes a week ago against Middletown North and is one of the best pass-catching tight ends on the east coast. He had 38 catches for 847 yards as a junior playing mostly wideout.
At the Elite College Combine in May, Graham showed off his new tight end size and the same old ball skills that made him an attractive recruit.
