Jersey standout sets first official

Listed as a safety in our Rivals.com database, Burlington (N.J.) Holy Cross standout Rick Costa is being recruited by all schools as a linebacker. That's because he's up to 220 pounds.
"I've put on some good weight," said the 6-foot-2, 220-pounder who has kept his 4.5-second 40-yard dash speed. "Right now I have an official visit set with Indiana for Dec. 12 and I'm also being recruited by Miami, North Carolina, Syracuse, Rutgers and Boston College."

Costa is still hoping for his first offer, although the Hoosiers said it could come on his trip.
"They said they might offer if I visit, so we'll see," he said. "I'm hoping to get some official visit invites from the other schools soon as well."
Costa wasn't sure of his senior stats but estimated that he has made around 10 tackles per game for Holy Cross. He said that academics and comfort level will determine where he goes.
