Jersey Speedster Has Busy Schedule

Swedesboro (N.J.) Kingsway Regional wide receiver prospect Dorien Bryant has speed to burn and more than 40 offers from schools hoping to utilize it. However, there are a select few schools on this speedster's list at this stage.
"I have a few official visits set up so far and I'll set up a couple more soon," said the 5-foot-10, 165-pounder who plays running back in high school. "I'm going to Purdue for Nov. 8 when they play Ohio State and I have Boston College set for Dec. 6 and Tennessee for Dec. 13. NC State is set for Jan. 24 but if we don't make the playoffs I'll set that for November."

There has been some discussion of not taking an official visit to Boston College because it's close enough to see at any time.
"That was my thinking and I still might see someplace that is further away, but right now I'm not really that interested in too many other schools so I'll probably end up taking my official to BC," he said. "I'm also hoping to get up there for their game against Syracuse (Nov. 15 weekend). I'm going to Purdue the week before and I'm going to NC State the following weekend (Nov.22) for their game against Florida State so BC could fit right in the middle for an unofficial trip. If we don't make the playoffs, I'll make the NC State-Florida State game my official down to Raleigh. I don't want to wait until late January to decide if I can help it."
Bryant said that Notre Dame and Penn State lead over Michigan and Michigan State for his fifth visit if he decides to take one. He has a very good idea where he's going to end up, but isn't ready to say or make that final decision.
"I've known for a little while I think, but the visits will be important," he said. "Let's just say I'm going into these visits knowing where I think I want to go. Once I'm done with them I'll see if that stays the same way."
