Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep linebacker Jay McCahill has decided to continue his football career in the MAC.

McCahill was recruited to Western Michigan by new head coach Bill Cubit, who had known of him since his days at Rutgers. WMU will be getting a hard-working player.
"Jay is a very tough, workman like young man who only gives 100-percent on every rep," said Caldwell. "We the coaches's at Don Bosco Prep always felt Jay could compete at
the Division 1 level. He's a solid student, solid young man and a solid leader."
McCahill also received interest from UConn, Rutgers and some D1AA programs.
