Jersey safetys stock is rising

Camden (N.J.) Woodrow Wilson defensive back Harold Dalton has seen his stock rise exponentially since the beginning of the summer. He has a very impressive offer list, but is he ready to start narrowing things down?
"I don't know that I'm near a decision or anything," he said. "But I am beginning to set dates for official visits and look into schools more closely. I'm going to Iowa for an official visit the weekend of Oct. 24th. I'll see their game against Penn State and tour the campus. On Dec. 13th I'm taking an official visit to Virginia Tech. I'll probably go to Tennessee some time late this year, but I don't know the date yet. I'm not sure where I'd like to take the rest of my visits."

At this point, does the 6-foot-1, 185-pound defensive back have any leaders?
"I'm mostly just considering all my options at this point. I don't think singling out one or two schools will do me any good, if I'm trying to keep an open mind. I'm looking at schools like UNC, Wisconsin, Minnesota and a couple of others, in addition to Virginia Tech, Tennessee and Iowa. So I'm pretty much open right now."
Dalton runs the 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds, and his athleticism and hard work have earned him offers from all of the schools mentioned above. He plans on setting his final two official visits in the near future.
