While the 2004 season is fast approaching and high school programs across the Garden State get set to open training camp on August 16, players are beginning to narrow down their choices of colleges. West Deptford, N.J. safety Anthony Scirrotto has six schools that are on the top of his list and he has offers from three of them.
"My top six schools in no particular order are Penn State, Wisconsin, Stanford, Virginia, Minnesota, and Notre Dame. Wisconsin, Stanford and Minnesota have all offered so I'm hoping to get offers from the others."
Scirrotto attended a one-day camp at Virginia back in June and was voted MVP for the defensive backs.

"I had a really good camp at UVA as a safety and I think the coaching staff was really impressed."
For now, Anthony is too excited about the upcoming season to really think about colleges.
"We start this week and that's really on my mind. This is my last year and I want to make it a great one. As far as my college choices go, I just plan on playing my best and the offers will come. If I don't receive offers from my other top schools, I'll just move on."
