Jersey RB holding out hope

It hasn't been long since athlete Matt Dortch put the finishing touches on a spectacular senior season at Wayne (N.J.) Valley. With his focus turned to recruiting, Dortch is holding out hope that offers will soon be on the way.
This past fall Dortch accounted for 2,600 all-purpose yards, including 1,550 on the ground, and 31 total touchdowns. He has the ability to play several positions at the college level. How does he see himself contributing?

"Mostly as a running back or a slot," Dortch said. "Also punt returner, kick returner and some cornerback."
At 6-feet, 172-pounds, Dortch runs the 40-yard dash in 4.43 seconds and has good quickness in the open field. What's been going on recently?
"Not too much, since it's the dead period," he said. "It's been kind of dull. There have been some I-AA schools and some Division II schools, but no really big schools.
"My coach told me that as of January 10, Iowa, Villanova and Delaware will be in contact. I was hearing from Iowa, Cincinnati and Syracuse. They all told me that if their top guy doesn't commit to them, then I'll be next."
Dortch has not taken any official visits yet but said he would schedule them in the near future.
