Jersey RB gets first two offers

It was only a matter of time before one of New Jersey's top running backs would receive his first offers. Donny Brown of Red Bank (N.J.) Red Bank Catholic impressed a lot of people back in March when he ran a blistering 4.27-second 40-yard dash at the Chuck Mound Football Challenge. Now the offers should begin to roll in.
"There have been a lot of schools coming to see me since the May evaluation period started, all of them have told me that they are very interested."

One school that showed just how interested they are is the University of Toledo.
"Toledo offered me and I'm really excited about it. I think this will get the ball rolling for me, it's nice to get that first offer, it's like a big boulder has been lifted off my shoulders."
After Toldeo, Brown received an offer from Wisconsin as well. Brown has also been hearing from such schools as Nebraska, Virginia, Connecticut, Boston College, Penn State, Maryland and Notre Dame.
"Wisconsin is a great offer to have because they run the ball so much and Anthony Davis, who is also from Jersey, has had so much success there," said Brown. "I'm very interested in them."
Brown is listing Toledo, Nebraska, Boston College, Virginia, Penn State, Notre Dame and Wisconsin as his early leaders.
As a junior, Donny rushed for 1,115 yards and 15 touchdowns.
