Jersey prep LB takes his first official visit

Princeton (N.J.) Hun School linebacker Donald Coleman picked up an offer from the ACC recently. The 6-foot-0, 210-pounder visited the school this past weekend. What is next for him?
"I was at NC State this weekend and it was good," he said. "I enjoyed myself. The visit was nice. I hung out with the guys, watched practice and met with the coaches.

"I got there around 1:30 on Friday and went to watch practice. That's also when I went to meet my host Earl Wolff. It was great with him. He's a fun guy. I also hung out with Sterling Lucas. It was good. I got to know my possible teammates and who I would play with.
"The players told me I want to come there because the program is on the rise. They are going to win an ACC championship and eventually a national championship. I do believe the program is on the rise. They are getting all new facilities too. It's nice down there."
Coleman returned to practice on Saturday before going out with a few coaches at night, Tom O'Brien, Jerry Petercuskie and Mike Reed.
"That was good," he said. "I went out with the guys. I got to see the facilities too and the luxury seating. It was all very nice. They are trying to expand to 70,000 because they are sold out next year."
Coleman once again met with the coaches on Sunday before heading out.
"I had a one on one with Coach Reed," he stated. "He went over film with me and showed me coverages and their system. I like the way they run their system with the safeties. I think it fits me. It relies on the safety to make plays.
"After that, my dad and I met with Coach O'Brien. He was telling me he knows how I can play and he'd like me down there. I thanked him and told him I'd get back in touch."
The two-star prospect confirmed he hasn't made a decision.
"I didn't commit, but I'll be in frequent contact with them," he said. "I really like it down there. They are definitely my favorite. It means a whole lot to me that they were the first to offer too. It's a strong option I could end up there.
"I am supposed to visit Iowa this weekend. It's not set in state. I'm looking to go with my teammate Nolan MacMillan. That could potentially be my last visit. They just offered me on Saturday while I was at NC State."
