Jersey kicker booting around options
It’s real easy for kickers to go under the radar screen, but when you land a scholarship or two as a kicker it’s a real big accomplishment.
According to Thorofare (N.J.) West Deptford kicker Jake Brownell, he’s picked up scholarship offers from Temple, Army and Navy.

“I’m going to visit Temple on December 10, Navy on January 7 and then Northwestern is also talking to me about visiting on December 3,” Brownell, who is 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, said.
“I like Princeton, too.”
Brownell has a 4.0 grade-point average, but most importantly has booted through 49 of 51 extra points and is four of five on field goals with a long of 40 yards. He also has averaged 90 percent touchbacks on his kickoffs and 40 yards on his punts.
