Jersey end claims an early leader

Galloway Township (N.J.) Absegami is home to a talented defensive end to watch in the 2009 recruiting class. The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder is already receiving interest from the ACC, Big East and Big Ten.
"I'm getting letters from Syracuse, Rutgers, Connecticut, Iowa and Boston College," defensive end Craig Capella said. "I went to a Rutgers game during the season.

"I'd probably say I like Rutgers a lot. It's close to home and I know a few people that have gone there."
Last season Capella posted 60 tackles and four sacks on his way to first team all-group honors.
"It was a pretty good season," he said. "I didn't play as well as I hoped.
"I saw a lot more time and improved a lot in the weight room. I just have to continue to get as fast as I can."
