Jersey DE mentions visits

Randolph, N.J. defensive end Frank Beltre holds three offers from Duke, Monmouth and Towson. The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder is getting his share of interest including more from the ACC as well as the Big Ten and Big East.
"Recruiting is going pretty good," he said. "Some new schools are talking to me, particularly Clemson.

"I'm also hearing from Northwestern, North Carolina, Pittsburgh and Boston College is very interested now. They all want to see some film of my first and third games."
Beltre is beginning to think about taking official and unofficial visits.
"Right now the plan is to take visits when the season is over," he said. "I've got to sit down and figure it out, check what schools have offered and then I'll definitely go see them. I think one of my officials will be to Monmouth.
"As for unofficials, I'm planning to go to Towson soon and will probably see games at Connecticut and Boston College as well."
Do any schools lead for the Garden State prospect?
"I like Northwestern," he said. "I like talking to the coaching staff. I can relate to them and I've looked at pictures of the campus, it looks really nice."
