Jersey DE Beltre cancels official

The final month of recruiting started up this past weekend and Randolph, N.J. defensive end Frank Beltre was scheduled to visit Army. Did the 6-foot-4, 215-pounder make the visit?
"I didn't take that trip," he said. "I decided against it because I don't think Army was the right fit for me. I like the school and the coaches helped me through the whole process, but Army is not for me."

Where does Beltre go from here?
"This weekend I'm going up to Maine and I think I may visit Marist, Monmouth and New Hampshire," he said. "Northwestern is still on the map too. They really like me; I just have to get my SAT up. I think if my grades improve I may get an offer."
Would Northwestern lead if they offer?
"I don't know," he stated. "I still have to take the visit there and see if it's a fit for me.
"Other than that, Rutgers asked me to walk-on, but I don't have the money for that."
