Jersey DB visits Wake

Cornerback Abdul Majeed of Princeton (N.J.) Hun School has begun to receive steady interest from a number BCS schools. This weekend he had a chance to visit one of them, as he made his way to North Carolina for the Wake Forest junior day.
"I enjoyed my visit to Wake Forest this weekend," said Majeed. "They did a nice job hosting junior day. I met with most of the coaches, including Coach Grobe, and I was able to attend one of their basketball games with the coaches and other recruits."

Looking back at his Wake Forest experience, a few things are still sticking out.
"Just being able to spend time with the coaches, learning more about the Wake Forest football program, including the school's future plans, and touring the facilities and the campus," said Majeed, who is 5-foot-10 and 180-pounds.
This coming weekend, Majeed will hit the road again to visit Maryland, and then will stay busy throughout the spring and summer.
"I'll be heading to various spring games, practices and camps, including Wake Forest, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Boston College, Pitt, Navy and Duke," said Majeed. "I was also recently asked to play on a couple of 7-on-7 teams and will probably play on at least one of those."
