Jersey DB loves Penn State

West Deptford, N.J. safety Anthony Scirrotto took his first official visit to Penn State this weekend and is on his way home now. How did it go?
"I loved it," said the 6-foot-1, 185-pounder. "I liked everything about it -- the coaches are honest and up front, I felt comfortable with the players and the surroundings and campus are nice. It's not city, but there are still things to do."

Did Scirrotto commit?
"No, but I might soon," he said. "I want to take my Georgia Tech visit, which is now set for Dec. 13-15 mid-week, and then decide. I have Wisconsin set for next week and I still might take that, but I'm not sure."
Scirrotto was hosted by Matt Hahn and was told by Joe Paterno that the legendary coach isn't going anywhere.
"He told me he'll be at Penn State until the big linemen hoist him on his shoulders and carry him off for another national title," he said. "Sounds like he'll be there."
Scirrotto has been to Penn State twice before, once for a game against Purdue.
"The atmosphere is great there," he said. "I could see myself there."
Coaches from Georgia Tech, Wisconsin and Penn State were in to see the safety last week and Minnesota will come in this Wednesday.
