Jersey CB stays home

Cornerback Greg Castillo has made a decision. The 5-foot-10, 158-pounder out of Mt. Laurel (N.J.) St. Joseph's selected Villanova over offers from BYU, Delaware, Ohio, Bowling Green, Toledo and Navy.
"I went on my official to Bowling Green last month and it was a great experience," he said. "They treated me first class, but I felt comfortable at Villanova.

"When I was on the visit I knew if I didn't play football I would want to go to school there. It's close to my family so they can come watch me play."
Villanova believes the two-star prospect may be able to step in immediately this fall.
"They want me at cornerback and said I can play as a freshman as long as I prove it to them in practice.
"Overall, I'm happy with my decision. It's been a long stressful period and I'm happy it's over."
Castillo posted three interceptions along with 550-yards receiving and 10 touchdowns this season.
