Jersey CB favors BC, UVA, Pitt

Wykoff (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep wide receiver Marquis Liverpool has named three favorites, with a few other schools still in the mix as well.
"My favorites are Boston College, Virginia and Pitt," said the 5-foot-10, 180-pounder who is also a standout cornerback. "I like the offenses they run and the academics they offer. I like the Boston area and I am looking forward to visiting Virginia and Pitt to see how I like it there."

Liverpool, who caught nine touchdown passes on offense and intercepted eight passes on defense, is also interested in Miami, Notre Dame and UCLA. He has offers from his top three schools as well as from Rutgers, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska and Syracuse.
"I'm not really eliminating anyone just yet, but I like the Boston area and coaching staff and I've heard very good things about both Virginia and Pitt as a school and as a football program."
Liverpool is also a standout baseball player and won't be able to take many visits this summer. He expects to take official trips to BC, Virginia and Pitt sometime during or after his senior season. His team should be ranked in the Top 5 nationally this upcoming season.
