Jersey CB adds two offers

Mt. Laurel (N.J.) St. Joseph's cornerback Greg Castillo added two more offers to his list recently. The 5-foot-10, 158-pounder now claims five scholarships.
"I already had offers from BYU, Ohio and Bowling Green and then I got ones from Delaware and Villanova," he said. "I like both of the offers. Delaware is close to home, only two hours away and they are a good Division I-AA program. Villanova is very close too only 45 minutes away from my house and they are a great program. I hear great things about them from one of my friends. I'd say both of these offers are right in there with the rest, I don't have a favorite."

Castillo has been receiving a lot of invites for games this fall, but hasn't scheduled any trips yet.
"I've got to set those up. Right now I don't know where I'm going," he said. "There are still a lot of schools talking about offering after they see some senior film. I may wait a bit. Those schools include Purdue, Northwestern, Iowa, Rutgers and possibly Illinois."
The two-star prospect discussed what he is looking for in a college.
"Location is somewhat of an issue," he said. "I'm open to everything, but I'd like to stay a bit closer to home. I also want good academics and just to find that comfort zone."
Football kicks off on Saturday for Castillo and St. Joseph's as they face North Penn.
"I'm really focused on the season and not worried too much about recruiting," he said. "Our first game is this week and I'm trying to make the best of my senior season.
"I think we're a very talented team that can be very good. We've got team chemistry and have performed well in our two scrimmages. I've been playing a lot more too at wide receiver and defensive back."
