Jersey Athlete Does Everything

Last season Amir Pinnix from Newark (N.J.) Malcom X Shabazz rushed for 1,100 yards and scored 12 touchdowns, caught 20 passes for another 200 yards and two more touchdowns and on defense had 95 tackles. Basically, the 5-foot-11, 190-pounder did everything but sell raffle tickets at home games. His accomplishments have not gone unnoticed by college coaches.
"I'm hearing from so many schools and it's all positive. I went to the Boston College and Rutgers camps and feel that I did a great job at both."

Amir has one offer at this time and that's from the University of Indiana.
"All of the other schools said they are going to follow me very close this year. I think if I have another year like I did last season, I will have plenty of schools offering me."
He lists eight schools that he is most interested in.
"I like South Carolina, I always liked them and they have a great program. I also like Indiana, Iowa, Boston College, Rutgers, Vanderbilt, Penn State. and Maryland. They are my top schools for now and I think they have shown me the most interest as well."
