Jersey ATH to set visits soon

Athlete Ed Imeokparia is one of the top uncommitted prospects in the Garden State. He's been dealing with the recruiting process for months now and is sitting on an impressive offer list. Earlier in December the versatile prospect from Blairstown (N.J.) Blair Academy visited Cincinnati and it won't be long until he sets up his final three trips.
At 6-feet, 188-pounds, Imeokparia has the ability to play any one of several positions in college and that versatility has greatly helped his stock in the recruiting game.

While it's getting closer to Signing Day, he may receive more offers down the road. North Carolina and NC State have hinted that they may be interested in extending scholarships, but for now he has plenty to choose from.
Imeokparia took an official visit to Cincinnati on December 7 and recapped the trip.
"I did, it was good," he said. "When I went they were out of classes but the players were still around practicing for the bowl game. A lot of positives came out of the visit. I got to sit down with the coaching staff. I interacted with (the coaches) and the guys on the team.
"From a defensive standpoint I really like them. They intercepted something like 23 passes in the regular season and with the possibility of me playing in the secondary that was pretty big."
Imeokparia had already taken an official visit to Michigan State and said the Spartans were still in the picture. He has not, however, set up any other trips yet. He'll be doing that soon enough.
"I'm still in the process of doing that," he said. "It's still up in the air at this point. I only have three visits left so I need to make sure I take the right three. I've got the same amount of interest in a lot of schools, so I just need to see which schools are standing out."
He currently holds offers from schools like Boston College, Cincinnati, Michigan State, Louisville, Purdue, Minnesota, Wake Forest and others. Several other schools are showing a lot of interest.
"I've been talking to North Carolina and I've been talking to NC State," he explained. "I've been in touch with Pittsburgh, Ohio State and Florida State too. (North Carolina and NC State) have been wanting me to take official visits and I think the offers are sort of verbal."
