Jeremiha Hunter doubles offers

Standout Jeremiha Hunter out of Manheim (Pa.) Manheim Central is arguably the top linebacker recruit out of Pennsylvania in 2006. Recently he's seen the number of written offers on the table double.
It's no surprise when you consider the 6-foot-2, 213-pounder with impressive 4.55-second 40-yard dash speed already had offers from seven schools -- Connecticut, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.

In just the last few weeks, Hunter has more than doubled his offers by adding ones from Purdue, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Maryland, Boston College, North Carolina, Michigan State and Pittsburgh.
The linebacker also took in one junior day at Virginia. So what did he think about the Cavaliers?
"It was a nice school," he said. "But I don't think Virginia would be the place for me. I just didn't get that feeling out of UVA and nothing really stuck out about the visit."
Besides hauling in a number of new offers, Hunter has also received a lot of interest Marshall, Stanford, UCLA and Brigham Young among others.
Does he have any early favorites?
"I like Ohio State and Michigan and I'm looking at visiting Purdue," he said. "But I'm really kind of unsure and still wide open on where I want to go."
This spring Hunter plans on attending the Nike Camp at Penn State and the Blue Chip Combine at Rutgers on May 2nd.
