Jenrette has two favorites

Tampa (Fla.) Chamberlin defensive back Roderick Jenrette, who had previously made official visits to Rutgers and Cincinnati, made a trip to Big Ten country and visited Michigan State this past weekend.
"It went well," Jenrette said. "I liked everything.

"I liked the players, the coaches, I liked the campus. We went to a basketball game and I liked the fans.
"Coach (John L.) Smith is a nice man. He's cool. He gets along with his players. Everybody likes him."
And perhaps surprisingly, Jenrette wasn't even bothered by the Michigan winter weather.
"I liked the snow and it wasn't as cold as I thought it would be," he said.
Jenrette may make one more trip.
"I'm still looking at Rutgers, Cincinnati, North Carolina State, and Michigan State," he said. "Those are the only ones. I might visit North Carolina State next week."
When asked who his favorite is, Jenrette said, "Michigan State and Rutgers."
The 6-foot-2 and 178-pound Jenrette did a little bit of everything during his senior season. He played strong safety, free safety, linebacker, running back, and wide receiver.
