Jennert has a great night

One of the big Friday Night Light surprises was wide receiver Donnie Jennert. Jennert, 6-7and 185 pounds, is from St. Cloud (Fla.) High School. He recently moved back after spending the last two years at Glenwood Springs in Colorado. Last year as a junior Jennert recorded 12 receptions for 300 yards and seven touchdowns. He certainly caught more passes Friday night in the Swamp then he did last season.
"Friday Night Lights was great. It has always been a dream of mine to play here, in the Swamp. I think I came out and did what I had to do."

Simply put Jennert was virtually unstoppable. Not only does he possess outstanding size but he also has good speed (4.5 forty) and exceptional hands.
"Those are certainly my strengths. I mean I am big (tall) and I have really good speed. I think I also run good routes."
According to Jennert he has a lone scholarship offer from Colorado State. Teams like Kansas, Kansas State, and New Mexico are actively recruiting him.
