Jenkins updates recruitment

Very little has been heard from three-star wide receiver Rotell Jenkins since May. Rivals caught up with the 6-foot-2, 176-pounder to find out who he has offers from and what's going on in his recruitment.
"I don't really know who I have official offers from," he said. "My coach doesn't really tell me because he wants me to wait. I have heard of offers from Florida, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Ohio State and Penn State."

Do any schools lead for Jenkins at this time?
"All of the ones that have been in touch stick out to me," he said. "I'm mainly looking for somewhere I'm going to play and they'll have good coaches. I want to get along with everybody fine. Location doesn't really matter to me either. I'm mainly looking for somewhere I can learn."
The Richmond (Va.) Huguenot receiver is beginning to consider visits to some schools.
"I've been talking about heading up to Penn State for the Notre Dame game this weekend," he said. "I'm also looking at the Miami/North Carolina game in early October. If I do go on those trips, I want to see how the coaches, environment and schools are."
Jenkins confirmed he does plan to take all five of his official visits.
On the field, the Commonwealth prospect begins the season on Friday against John Marshall.
"We've been doing alright in scrimmage," he said. "We're adjusting to our new offense, but I think this team has more athletes and better chemistry. We have more of a bond this year."
