Jenkins takes a break from recruiting

Recruiting has gone to the backburner for 6-foot-2, 176-pound wide receiver Rotell Jenkins. The 6-foot-2, 176-pounder instead if focused on finishing out the year before addressing his college situation.
"The season is going good, but our coach just left the team due to sickness," he said. "Coach McFee is a great coach and we'll miss him. We'll go on and as he said one person doesn't make the program.

"Right now our defensive coordinator has taken over and it's going well."
How has the three-star prospect done this year?
"I'm playing well," he said. "I'm the No. 1 receiver in the area here averaging 95.7-yards a game and I have 10 touchdowns on the season. I'm just trying to get my team on the right track, make my coaches happy and be a leader."
The Richmond (Va.) Huguenot prospect discussed recruiting briefly.
"It's the same old stuff," he said. "I have offers I believe from Penn State, Michigan, Ohio State, Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee from what I know.
"Since my coach is sick I haven't really looked much into visits. I'll get to those a lot later after the season. I also don't have any leaders right now."
