Jenkins says hes solid for the Bucks

Piscataway, N.J., three-star cornerback Malcolm Jenkins committed to Ohio State back in August and since then he’s been rather quiet. At least off the field he has been because on the field, the 6-foot, 185-pounder is a force and a big reason why his squad heads into the state playoffs ranked as the No. 1 seed.
“We play Union on Saturday,” Jenkins said. “We beat them in the title game last year. We know they’re the eighth seed, and they’re a good squad. We have to play hard.”

Jenkins said he’s got one interception on the season and 300 yards receiving and seven touchdowns.
“Teams don’t throw at me,” he said. “I’ve been doing most of my damage on offense. I like defense better, because it’s more challenging. I like going man-to-man against guys and shutting them down.”
Ohio State has been in the news the past 24 hours because of allegations made by former running back Maurice Clarrett. However, Jenkins said he’s not too aware of allegations.
“My parents were talking about it,” Jenkins said. “It doesn’t matter, though, no matter what happens. I’m still committed to Ohio State, and that’s where I’m going. I want to play for coach Tressel.”
Jenkins will visit Ohio State on December 10.
