Jenkins is a gem, on and off the field

Julian Jenkins might be a great football player, but it’s his intelligence in the classroom that surely though overwhelms any other talents.
With his list of top schools it shows.

"My top five would be Stanford, Notre Dame, Northwestern, Michigan, Penn State," Jenkins, the 6-foot-5, 228-pound weakside defensive end from College Park (Ga.) Woodward Academy, said.
"I am also kind of looking at Florida."
The Rivals100 member said one school to him sticks out a bit from the rest.
"Notre Dame is a real good school for its tradition," he said. "The atmosphere isn't what some other schools can offer, but if you want to study and play football that's the place."
Being from Georgia, one would assume he would like the warmer climates to play in. Not necessarily.
"I don't have any loyalties or anything like that," he said. "I don't mind the cold weather, and I didn't grow up a Georgia fan or anything."
So what is it that will help him make up his mind?
"Education in generally really," he said.
"Some schools have programs that are better than others. I have to have a quality education from a school that is seen every Saturday."
Jenkins said he was beginning to set up visit dates, and isn't exactly sure on what he wants his major to be.
