Jenkins has a leader

Dallas (Texas) Lincoln defensive tackle Aaron Jenkins has his eyes on a few options. There are Toledo, New Mexico, North Texas, and possibly Texas Tech.
Signing Day is approaching quickly for the The 6-foot-2, 285-pound standout, and he is in the process of scheduling a few possible official visits.

"Right now I'm trying to get New Mexico for the 24th and either Texas Tech or UNT next week," Jenkins said.
His visits over the next two weekends will not be his first though, Jenkins took his first visit early in the fall of 2013.
"The first trip was actually to the University of Toledo. It was back in September," Jenkins said. "It was pretty good. I liked the coaching staff and the players were real cool. I had a good time at the football game. It was a good atmosphere. I liked the fans and it seemed like a nice group to be around. I had a good time."
As he begins to narrow his options, there is one factor which stands above the rest.
"When I'm making my decision my biggest thing is going to be loyalty," Jenkins said. "New Mexico for example, those guys stuck with me. I was committed to Rice in the spring, March, and they were with me then. They were with me when I decommitted. Now they're still with me. That's a main priority I look at. They were with me through the whole thing. Those are the type of programs you want to be around, where you're wanted."
The New Mexico Lobos, led by assistant coach Derek Warehime, are currently at the top of his list of options for the loyalty shown.
Jenkins does not know exactly when he will decide, but he does know a decision is coming soon. He also knows once he makes a decision it will be final.
"No sir, once I commit that's it," Jenkins said. "I'm done."
