Jenkins enjoys trip to Lincoln

Three-star athlete Moses Jenkins out of Lauderdale Lakes (Fla.) Boyd Anderson made the trip out to Nebraska last weekend. The 6-foot-2, 169-pounder had a good visit with the Cornhuskers.
"It was a good time and nice," he said. "I got there on Friday around 5:30 and basically hung out with the players and coaches, toured the facilities, school and went to the game.

"The game was really nice. It was a good environment and it was my first time seeing snow. I was really amazed about that, the setting was great. It was cold there, but I expected that and I like the cold. As for the atmosphere, it was really amazing. The fans and everyone there were very nice and into their team."
On the trip, Jenkins was hosted by a few players.
"One day I hung out with Cruz Barrett and then the next I was out with Ola Dagunduro," he said. "It was really nice with them and I had a good time hanging out with all the guys after the game. They told me a few things about the program and I just had a nice time."
Jenkins was also able to talk with quite a few of the coaches.
"That was mostly on Sunday before I left," he said. "I was able to talk with coach Blake, Elmassian and Bill Callahan. They all aid some interesting things to me and I enjoyed talking to them."
The No. 50 athlete in the country had a hard time rating his trip to Lincoln.
"I can't really rate it because I don't know, but it was nice and a good time," he said. "Compared to Iowa, they both were about the same. I liked the coaches, players and football a lot at both schools."
Next up for Jenkins is a trip further north.
"I haven't scheduled it yet, but I want to take a visit up to Wisconsin," he said. "I'll probably do it after the season. I want to see whatever they'll have to offer me and then I'll compare it to everybody else."
