Jefferson enjoys his time inside The Swamp

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Rising sophomore defensive lineman CeCe Jefferson made it to the University of Florida on Friday to participate in Friday Night Lights. Following the event, the 6-foot-2, 248-pound defender talked about the experience.
"It was good," Jefferson said. "It was all I expected it to be. I had a great time and really enjoyed it."

During the camp, Jefferson worked with the current defensive coordinator of the Gators.
"I worked with Coach (Dan) Quinn," Jefferson said. "He is a pretty good coach. I could see him coaching me in my future. He likes to work hard and I like to work hard. We seem like a perfect match."
Jefferson, who already claims offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Louisville, North Carolina, and South Carolina, grew up a Florida fan and is admittedly very interested in the in-state program. Participating in a camp inside 'The Swamp' gave Jefferson a special kind of feeling.
"It felt good to be in there," Jefferson said. "I felt like I was home again. That is big for me."
Prior to visiting Florida, Jefferson also visited Alabama and Auburn. He said he is done with summer visits. He intends to attend some games on college campuses this coming year.
The talented defender hasn't named a leader and intends to take his time with the process.
