Jefferson enjoying his time at Iowa

Pittsburgh (Pa.) Woodland Hills defensive end Quinton Jefferson made the long trip west to Iowa on Friday out of a desire to check out what the Hawkeyes have to offer.
The 6-foot-3, 225-pound prospect from the talent-rich school in Pennsylvania enjoyed his first day at Iowa, and he is hoping Saturday goes equally well.

"I'm actually at Iowa as we speak," Jefferson told Rivals.com on Saturday morning.
"It's been pretty good. I saw some of the facilities yesterday and I get a tour of the rest of the school today."
One of the highlights of the trip so far has been speaking with the coaching staff that just guided the Hawkeyes to another stellar season in 2009.
"I talked to them yesterday but I have separate meetings with them today," he noted, referring to the coaches.
Though he did not elaborate on where exactly he will be going Jefferson said he will probably try to set up some trips once he is done at Iowa. Last month he mentioned the possibility of visiting West Virginia, Wisconsin and Illinois, in addition to Iowa.
