JC star back from Oregon, will soon decide

City College of San Francisco linebacker Larry Grant came away from his Jan. 20 official visit to Ohio State very impressed. He is back from his official visit this weekend to Oregon, and is closing in on a decision.
"I just got back from Oregon," Grant said. "It was cool. I liked the facilities. The coaches were cool. Everybody was cool.

"Of course they have a good football program. It's a good school."
Grant said he was again offered a scholarship by the Ducks.
"I didn't say no," Grant said. "My mind will probably be made up by Tuesday. It will be made up by Tuesday."
Grant, who originally committed to Florida, also visited Texas A&M and Tennessee.
"It's just Ohio State and Oregon," Grant said. "I'll talk to my coach and my brother, then make my decision.
"Both are good schools. It's pretty even. But I still like Ohio State."
The 6-foot-2 and 220-pound Grant, a four star prospect, has graduated from City College of San Francisco. He made 85 tackles including six sacks this season for City College of S.F. Grant also intercepted six passes and blocked six punts. Grant played both inside and outside linebacker.
