JC safety getting attention from all over

Mount San Antonio (Calif.) College safety Donte Nicholson signed with Washington out of high school and the December graduate is drawing closer to a decision.
"Donte is a super player," Mt. SAC coach Bill Fisk said. "He was the league's defensive MVP last year as a freshman. He's our cornerstone back in the secondary."

Fisk knew Nicholson was receiving a lot of attention from about any school he wanted to attend, but he knew two schools were really sticking out to his star.
"He signed with Washington out of high school," Fisk said of the 6-foot-2, 200-pounder. "They're right up there on his list. But Southern Cal and Oregon are recruting him very hard. He'll graduate after this semester, so he'll have to get in trips after our season most likely."
Nicholson already has two of those trips set.
"He's going to USC the first Saturday of December. And the next weekend he's going to Oregon. I know he's working to set up a trip to Washington too.
"A lot of schools are trying to recruit him, but I think he's down to probalby those schools."
