JC RB off the market

Highland (Kan.) Community College running back Lamont Moore signed with Kansas State out of high school. Where is he headed?
"Lamont was helped here by Kansas State's Greg Peterson," Highland assistant coach Chris Hutchings said. "He was at another school for his first season, but this past summer he was looking for a new school. We had a spot open and he's here."

So how does Highland handle their placements?
"He's off limits," Hutchings said. "We're under the impression K-State is going to come back here and get him. They usually come by here after the holiday break. Until they tell us otherwise, Lamont is not on the list of kids we have available to other schools."
Moore, a 6-foot, 185-pound all-purpose back has played wide receiver and running back this year for Highland.
"We kept him moving around from spot to spot. We didn't let him learn any one spot fully. He has the skills to play at either running back or wide receiver for a Division-I school."
