JC RB listing two Big 12 schools

Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College running back Muhammad Abdulqaadir is one of the top running backs in the Kansas Jayhawk Junior College Conference.

"I'm talking to lots of schools," Abdulqaadir said. "Mostly I'm hearing from Kansas, Illinois, Cinicinnati, South Carolina, Central Florida and Kansas State. I don't have any favorite among those schools. It's still too early. I want to see what comes as the season goes along. Those schools have all offered scholarships."

Abdulqaadir is enjoying the recruiting process so far. "I like hearing what the schools have to offer me. I want to hear all of that before I start to set up trips to see the campuses."

Abdulqaadir is a mid-term transfer student-athlete. "I graduated in May of 2001. I have done all the work I needed to. I will go somewhere for my spring semester and go through the spring drills. I redshirted as a true freshman with an injury. I'll have two years to play two years."

Abdulqaadir has rushed for 720 yards in six games while scoring 13 touchdowns.
